DEC 3 - BRIDGING THE GAP
Bridges symbolize change and flexibility! They show us this simple philosophy: When you are on one side, you can easily move to the other side!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan
I love bridges, especially the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. We walked across it to Manhattan in August of 2001. The Twin Towers still stood but were slightly obscured by clouds in the picture that was taken of us. Then of course, the unspeakable happened weeks later. For me, bridges have come to mean restoration after loss. We are the only ones who can reconstruct our lives by bridging the gap between then and now.
